The ‘Mashable’ team  says, “Facebook fans with Android devices, listen up! There’s a new version of the client for your phone ready to download from the Google Play Store. The build number is 1.9 and aims to further improve the user experience.

There are performance improvements and various bug fixes included as well as more messaging features (like creating group messages and adding friends to existing group conversations)”.
