Phil Lin says, “A few weeks ago the U.K. government agency, Action Fraud, warned that cyber criminals were sending fraudulent phishing emails to Royal Bank of Scotland’s NatWest banking customers. The phishing emails stated that users must click on a link and update their personal information to complete a ‘security upgrade.’ The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the country’s top derivatives regulator, revealed it had also been attacked in almost the exact same manner by spear phishers”.
