This funny new tool is a tribute to the classic pop culture concept of the Six Degrees of Separation, which posits that between you and any random person in the world, there can only be six acquaintance links. The concept spawned into a Hollywood parlor game where the challenge was calculating how many connections there are between any Hollywood actor and Kevin Bacon, who seems to have worked with pretty much everybody in the film industry”.
