The latest post on ‘Mashable’ is titled “Report: Google is Planning a Competitor to Amazon Prime”.
Todd Wasserman says, “Google is planning to introduce a competitor to Amazon Prime that will be cheaper and offer same-day delivery, according to a report.
TechCrunch reports that the service, called Google Shopping Express, would offer such delivery via retailers like Target, Walmart, Walgreens and Safeway. Google Shopping Express would also be $10 to $15 cheaper than the $79 annual fee that Amazon charges for Prime, which offers expedited shipping, but not same-day delivery. However, Amazon is shifting its operations to soon offer same-day delivery, according to reports“.
