Adam Ostrow says, “Some of the most popular content online throughout the past year wasn’t created by publishers like Mashable, but by brands like Red BullDoveP&G and Oreo.In response to this trend, we launched a new ad product at this year’s SXSWcalled Social Lift, which allows brands to amplify their social assets in the stream on Mashable’s website. Our very first Social Lift ad featured our good friend Grumpy Cat starring in a Vine created by Friskies. Since then, a diverse group of brands have utilized Mashable‘s Social Lift to promote YouTube videos, Vine posts and other social media creations”.
