Pete Pachal says, “The first time you wear Google Glass, your mind reels with its potential. But wear it for a few hours, and you’ll soon bump into limitations. While Google has developed an ingenious way of keeping you connected even with your phone tucked away, it can’t do certain things your phone can, like surf the web in a real browser. At least, not until yesterday, when Google rolled out a web browser for Glass in its XE7 software update (the XE stands for “Explorer Edition”). Now when you Google something through Glass, you won’t hear the disappointing “unable to comply” chime when you tap the touchpad to try to view a search result. Instead, you’ll see the option to “View Website.” Tapping again launches the Glass browser, and in a few seconds, you’ll see the web page on the virtual screen”.
