‘Pinterest Rolls Out Paid Test for Promoted Pins’ – ‘Website Magazine’ Article
The latest article on ‘Website Magazine’ is titled “Pinterest Rolls Out Paid Test for Promoted Pins”.
Allison Howen says, “Promoted Pins are getting closer to becoming a reality, as Pinterest is rolling out a paid test of this advertisement feature within the platform’s search and category feeds.
Promoted Pins made their initial debut last September, when Pinterest announced its plans to “experiment” with the advertising feature. During this testing phase, Pinterest worked with a select group of businesses to promote pins, free of charge, to see how the promoted content impacted the user experience. Today, however, the company is officially rolling out a paid test of the feature with a select group of brands, including ABC Family, Banana Republic, Expedia.com, Kraft, Target and Old Navy”.
