Spanish Speakers Shopping Online to Increase
More than half of Spanish speakers have purchased something online. And this is likely to increase over the next year.
More than half, 54%, of Spanish-speaking respondents had purchased something online. About 45% also feel that their use of the internet for shopping online would increase over the next year.
The Spanish-speaking community is increasingly using the Internet for a variety of commercial activities, according to independent research conducted by Feedback Research.
The findings of the study indicate the following:
About 77% of Spanish speakers use the internet at least once a day.
About 79% have been using the Internet for 5 years or less.
About 69% who shop online preferred Spanish language sites.
About 49% of who shop online have said that they were more likely to buy from a Spanish language site.
About 70% read news/current events online.
