Yahoo is going to open research labs in Chile and Spain. The new offices, which are scheduled to open on Monday, will be opened by Ricardo Baeza-Yates.

Ricardo Baeza-Yates, experienced in the field of information retrieval, has been newly hired by Yahoo. Baeza-Yates will be based at the new Barcelona office.
Yahoo had recently opened research labs in New York, San Francisco and Southern California.
