Yahoo is going to offer a plug-in for its Yahoo Music service, in partnership with Linksys. Consumers will be able to stream Yahoo Music downloads from their computer to a stereo sound system.


Yahoo is going to offer a plug-in for its Yahoo Music service, in partnership with Linksys. Consumers will be able to stream Yahoo Music downloads from their computer to a stereo sound system.

The software is integrated into the Linksys Wireless-G Music Bridge and Yahoo Music Engine.

Malachy Moynihan, vice president, Linksys home networking business unit said, “Teaming with Yahoo! Music provides our home networking users with tools that enable them to expand their home network more affordably and more easily.

The Wireless-G Music Bridge is available retail, ecommerce and direct response for $99.99.

Yahoo! Music Engine can be downloaded for free. Yahoo Music also offers Yahoo Music Unlimited can also be purchased for $4.99 per month or $6.99 for an annual subscription.
