Google has reported $1.9 billion revenues for the quarter ending Dec 31, 2005. This was a 86% increase compared to 2004 Q4 revenues of $1.032 billion.


Google has reported $1.9 billion revenues for the quarter ending Dec 31, 2005. This was a 86% increase compared to 2004 Q4 revenues of $1.032 billion.

There was also a 22% increase compared to Q3 2005 revenues of $1.57 billion.

Websites owned by Google generated $1.098 billion revenues, which comprised 57% of total revenues. Google saw a 24% increase over the third quarter revenues of $885 million.

Through AdSense programs, Google’s partner sites generated $799 million in revenues, comprising 42% of total revenues.

For the fourth quarter, TAC revenues totaled $629 million, which was 33% of advertising revenues.

GAAP operating income for Q4 was $570 million, comprising 29.7% of total revenues. GAAP operating income for Q3 was $ 529 million, which comprised 33.5% of total revenues. The non-GAAP operating income was $718 million, comprising 37.4% of total revenues.

GAAP net income for Q4 was $372 million, compared to $381 million for Q3. Non-GAAP net income was $469 million, compared to $437 million in the third quarter.

Google’s effective tax rate for the fourth quarter increased to 41.8%, and to 31.6% for the whole year.
