HighBeam Research Launches Advertiser Direct and Publisher Direct
HighBeam Research has launched HighBeam Advertiser Direct and Publisher Direct. HighBeam Advertiser Direct offers cost-per-click programs which allow advertisers to integrate their ads on HighBeam. HighBeam Publisher Direct allows publishers to integrate their articles within search results of the HighBeam Research Engine.
HighBeam Research has launched HighBeam Advertiser Direct. HighBeam Advertiser Direct offers cost-per-click programs which allow advertisers to integrate their ads on HighBeam.
The ads appear in the sponsored links sections at the top and bottom of search results pages on HighBeam Research. Ads will also appear on contextually relevant articles, near the texts of articles.
The technology for the contextual advertising program is provided by HighBeam’s partner ContextWeb.

HighBeam has also launched HighBeam Publisher Direct. HighBeam Publisher Direct allows publishers to integrate their articles within search results of the HighBeam Research Engine.
Publishers provide a feed for their free articles. HighBeam uses the feed to integrate the articles into HighBeam’s collection of articles from business, trade, academic, special interest and general interest publications.
When users search a topic or view an article from HighBeam’s archives which is related to the Publisher Direct articles, the Publisher Direct articles appear in the normal search results, and in a special advertising section containing only Publisher Direct articles.
Publishers of newspapers, magazines, journals and speciality publications are eligible to participate in HighBeam Publisher Direct.
