Bill Flitter’s report has suggested the following targeting techniques:
* Category Targeting
* Keyword Targeting
* Demographic Targeting
According to Flitter, “First, we need to understand the RSS user. The RSS user has made up their mind and has opted-in to receive specific information. They know exactly what they want – a much different mindset than that of the search engine user”.
Flitter has added, “To maximize the revenue potential of your RSS ad inventory, targeting based on behavior and value of the user will yield higher marketing ROI”.[source]
