Google has launched Google Page Creator in beta. Google Page Creator allows Google account holders to create web pages and publish them to the web.


Google has launched Google Page Creator in beta. Google Page Creator allows Google account holders to create web pages and publish them to the web.

Page Creator has a WYSIWYG interface. Users are able to select fonts and colours or insert images or links. Page Creator has 100MB of storage space.

Justin Rosenstein, project manager for Page Creator, said: “Google Page Creator is aimed at people who are interested in publishing a simple, relatively static Web site, whereas Blogger, which Google also owns, is designed for people who want to post frequently, with regularly changing content.” [Source]

The About Google Page Creator page says: “There’s no software to download and no web designer to hire. The pages you create are hosted on Google servers and are available at http://yourgmailusername.googlepages.com for the world to see.” [Source]
