Claria has launched PersonalWeb Beta. PersonalWeb Beta is a personalized homepage application.

PersonalWeb recognizes a user’s interests based on his/her web surfing patterns and organizes their content and information on a customized homepage.

PersonalWeb also provides links to a user’s email accounts and search engines. It also provides links to RSS feeds from the websites they visit the most and also provides content and product recommendations.

PersonalWeb uses Claria’s RelevancyRank. RelevancyRank is a content ranking program for behavioral targeting. PersonalWeb does not collect or use a user’s personal information.

Scott VanDeVelde, President and CEO of Claria, said: “We are excited to introduce a beta version of PersonalWeb, the first consumer application utilizing our new personalization platform. We will continue to build on the PersonalWeb platform and in the coming months we will be adding features and content based on feedback from our users and publisher partners.” [Source]
