Google has announced “The Summer of Code 2006″. The Summer of Code program helps the students to get introduced with the world of Open Software Development.


Google has announced “The Summer of Code 2006″. The Summer of Code program helps the students to get introduced with the world of Open Software Development.

For last year’s program Google selected 419 students out of 8744 applicants. 80% of the students were successful in the training and they received the stipend of $4500 each.

Google will start accepting the applications from the students 1st May onwards.
