The Quick Add feature is a natural language recognition service which allows users to make entries without filling out forms.
Gmail account holders can see a “Add to Calendar” link next to a message mentioning an event. They can use this link to add the event to their Google Calendar.
Users can import their calendar from other applications supporting iCal and CSV formats. They can also search for public calendars on the web.
Users can set automatic reminders that can be sent via email or text messages to mobile phones.
Google Calendar uses iCal and XML formats.
