Scott Mitchell, president of Think Partnership, said: “IceRocket’s new and revolutionary approach to eliminating “splogging” is very consistent with Think Partnership’s pursuit to maintaining integrity and maximizing value to advertising clients throughout our increasingly comprehensive network”.
The CEO of IceRocket, Blake Rhodes will continue to serve as IceRocket’s CEO following the closing.
Rhodes said: “I am thrilled that IceRocket is uniting with Think Partnership, enabling us to connect the huge and growing blogging community to the business opportunities and network provided by Think Partnership, especially Litmus Media’s Valid Click network and PrimaryAds’ affiliate marketing network”.
The closing of the deal depends on a number of conditions from both the companies.
Think Partnership, based at Northbrook, provides online and off-line marketing, advertising and shopping evaluation services. It also provides services like search engine optimization, opt-in email marketing and pay-per-click campaign management.
IceRocket is a privately owned and operated search engine. IceRocket has a blog search technology to search the blogosphere.
