1.4% Rise in Search Marketing Keyword Prices
Fathom Online has reported growth in the prices of Search Marketing Keywords. There is a rise of 1.4 percent in average bid since September 2004.

There was a drop of three percent in the price of keywords on search engines at the end of 2005 according to Fathom Online,
Matt McMahon, VP Marketing Services at Fathom, said: “Search marketing is growing at a robust 25 percent this year, and price stability helps that growth.”
He added: “As advertisers see a more predictable keyword bidding environment, confidence in the channel grows and advertisers continue to invest further in search marketing.”
Findings of the fathom online report include:

– In September 2005, the average bid was $1.37”
