Searches on Google Increase 41%
Searches on Google have increased 41% in March 2006, compared to March 2005, according to a report by Nielson/NetRatings. Searches on Yahoo increased 47% and on MSN Search increased 9%.
Searches on Google have increased 41% in March 2006, compared to March 2005, according to a report by Nielson/NetRatings. Searches on Yahoo increased 47% and on MSN Search increased 9%.
In the month of March, Google’s search market share increased 2%, Yahoo’s increased 1%. Google accounts for 49% of all searches, Yahoo for 22% and MSN Search for 11%.
Michael Lanz, Vice President of Search Industry Solutions at Nielson/NetRatings, said: “As the recognized leaders in the search market, Google and Yahoo! continue to gain ground as new features, such as instant search suggestions and video search, heighten loyalty among their users.
