Google Search Grows 41% Yahoo Grows 47%
Google and Yahoo search have increased 41% and 47% respectively. Overall online searches have grown at the rate of 36%, according to a report by Nielsen//NetRatings.

Google, Yahoo and MSN are the top search providers, according to the report.
Report States:
“¢ Google’s searches increased from 2.1 billion in March 2005 to 2.9 billion in March 2006
“¢ Yahoo’s searches increased from 907.8 million to 1.3 billion
“¢ MSN’s searches increased from 592.2 million to 643.8 million
Michael Lanz, vice president, search industry solutions of Nielsen//NetRatings, said: “As the recognized leaders in the search market, Google and Yahoo! continue to gain ground as new features, such as instant search suggestions and video search, heighten loyalty among their users”. [source]
