SonicWall has launched the SonicWall Email Security Suite. The product offers email threat management by providing anti-spam, anti-virus, anti-phishing, auditing, policy management and email compliance capabilities.


SonicWall has launched the SonicWall Email Security Suite. The product offers email threat management by providing anti-spam, anti-virus, anti-phishing, auditing, policy management and email compliance capabilities.

The product was developed as a result of SonicWall’s acquisition of MailFrontier, an email security company, in February, 2006.

Matthew Medeiros, president and CEO at SonicWall, said: “Smaller organizations should not have to decide between effectiveness and price. Our product set provides the same level of protection and policy enforcement to all our customers, and we believe this approach will provide a further opportunity for our channel partners to bring SonicWALL solutions to a new set of users.” [Source]

For organizations of 1,000 users, SonicWall provides Enterprise Email Security 6000 and 8000 appliances and software. For SMB organizations upto 50, 100, 250 to 1,000 users, SonicWall provides Email Security 200, 300, 400 and 500 SMB appliances.

Email Security 200 software is priced at $995 and Email Security 200 appliance is priced at $1,395, plus annual subscription.
