Search engine marketers perform five other job functions in addition to search engine marketing and the companies are not much serious about search engine marketing, according to the research.
Research Findings of Jupiter Research and iProspect:
– 58% of search engine marketers perfom websites development
– 57% of search engine marketers do email advertising
– Jupiter Research has listed other advertising media that helps search engine marketing. The list includes:

– – 22% direct mail
– – 9% radio
– – 7% TV
– – 4% outdoor advertising
– 26% of marketers perform IT functions with search engine marketing
Robert Murray, President of iProspect, said: “While this finding was troubling ““ given the complexity of the medium and the quality of the results it delivers”.
