AOL has acquired Lightningcast. AOL will merge with Lightningcast under Advertising within AOL’s Audience business unit.


AOL has acquired Lightningcast. AOL will merge with Lightningcast under Advertising.com within AOL’s Audience business unit. Also, Advertising.com’s pre-roll video network will merge with the InStream network, operating under InStream.

The combined network will comprise of 300 websites and 175 million monthly streams.

Advertisers will be able to target video campaigns across their network on the basis of factors including, behavior, demographic, and content channel.

Lightningcast provides video and audio ad insertion and campaign management. Ligntningcast has earlier launched the InStream video advertising network. InStream network provides managed insertion of streaming media advertising and reporting.
