Highest performing RSS content categories were:

• Comics and Humor: 9.62%
• Travel: 8.54%
• Kids and Family 7.61%

Additional findings were:

• 90% of RSS consumers preferred to read the feed content in the aggregator environment.
• Summary feeds averaged 12% CTR on content headlines and full-text feeds averaged 10% CTR
• Summary feed content CTR was between 2% and 55%. Full-text feed content CTR was between 5% to 15%
• 84% of feeds sampled were summary feeds.
• MyYahoo! Held 24% of the aggregator market. Mozilla/Firefox applications held 14%, Newsgator Online held 10% and NetNewsWire held 4% market share.
