Google has launched Picasa for Linux. Picasa allows users to edit, share, organize and publish photos.
Picasa automatically locates all the picture files in a computer and sorts them into albums. The visual albums are organized by date and folder names.
It also allows users to drag and drop pictures to arrange albums. Users can also make labels and create new groups.
The Picasa website says: “Picasa also makes advanced editing simple by putting one-click fixes and powerful effects at your fingertips. And Picasa makes it a snap to share your pictures.” [Source]
