Care For Some Tea With That Website?

As England was fighting it out in the World Cup, the “Fightin’ Fortins” were on stage in London, England, speaking at the World Internet Summit. Sylvie and I both spoke on stage in front of 1,100 cheering and eager attendees.

What a fabulous experience!

Not only did we make a ton of new friends from the many, wonderful attendees, mostly all Brits and Europeans, we also had an opportunity to meet long-time friends and copywriters extraordinaire Alan Forrest Smith, Brett McFall, Tim Warnock, David Cavanagh, and a few others.

Here’s a close-up picture of Sylvie and I (from the same picture above, courtesy of Alan Forrest Smith, who also won Best Speaker 2006!)…

Alan is a great friend and a gentleman. Through and through. It was also nice to meet Tim Warnock, who lives in Assisi, Italy and did a lot of work with my Copywriting Crew. We also spoke alongside some of my great friends and top marketers Stephen Pierce, Mike Filsaime, Rick Raddatz, John Childers, Morgan Westerman and a few others.

Bottom line, things went so well, we were invited to speak in all the other World Internet Summits! This fall, it’s Las Vegas. Then, it’s Asia (Singapore). And then, Australia. So we hope to see YOU when we come to your town!

A huge thanks to Ted Ciuba, Tom Hua, Brett McFall and Andrew Reynolds for inviting us. We had a blast, and the people in the UK were an awesome group of people. They welcomed us with open arms, and treated us like gold. (To the wonderful people in the UK, a big “thank you!” Now let’s get ready to make some money.)
