Build an Online Asset
As search engine algorithms get more intelligent they become more accurate in indexing pages higher that are natural and relevant to the topic of query. Google, Yahoo and MSN have been developing their algorithms for over 15 years now so consider this…
How many minds have influenced Google’s algorithm for example?
10, 20, 30, 100s, 1000s?
How intelligent are Google’s algorithms compared to the IQ of a single webmaster?
How intelligent is Google when pitted against a mastermind group of pure blackhat webmasters?
Take a peek at (www.syndk8.net/forum). This is a community of black hatters that spend their waking hours trying to fool their way to the top of the search engines by using techniques and strategies that many consider less than ethical.
Browsing around the forum, I see threads of desperation and sorrow from webmasters that were on top of the world one day and crying the blues the next. All these people are taking on King Kong (Google) with weapons as sturdy as a toothpick.
I cannot figure out why so many people choose to spend their valuable time fighting a losing battle when it is so easy to rank well by just creating real visitor content. If making a dollar is the goal then why invest the most precious resource of all (time) into methods that may make a dollar or two and then go away?
It seems to make better sense to spend the same hours creating solid content that the search engines love in an effort to build an asset that makes a dollar or two today and continues to compound over time adding power and momentum to your online efforts to build a long term income generating powerhouse.
There is a good discussion going on at the SEO Forum based on solid techniques that are designed to withstand the test of time and build a solid online asset for everyone involved.
