I. From The Editor
This month I have compiled a list of all the paid article submission software I could find and included purchase links. Not one on the list will do a “completely automated” submission for you but, but each can significantly reduce the time you spend submitting. Some of the links I am providing are affiliate links and any sales made from them benefit this e-zine.
My only resolution for the New Year was to find unprofitable projects in my portfolio and terminate them. Unfortunately, the most unprofitable projects include this e-zine and the companion blog. As much as I love writing this e-zine I have to seriously consider publishing less frequently or not at all. A decision will be made and subscribers notified in our March issue.

II. Feature Article – Automate Your Article Submissions
Let’s focus on shaving time from your tedious article submission duties. You have several options, including hiring a Virtual Assistant to submit articles for you, using a submission service or purchasing article submission software.
In this article, we will concentrate on paid submission software. There are a handful of free submitters, but we won’t cover those in this article. I have not tested all of these products so please conduct your own research before making a purchasing decision.
Article Planter
Very few details are available about this software, but the sales page does show the submission list is regularly updated. A spam prevention filter prevents your articles being submitted more than once to each site.

Artemis Pro
This software claims to submit a unique version of your article to each submission site but doesn’t explain how! The sales letter does say “You won’t have gibberish submitted under your name. There is no word substitution. There are no meaningless header, middle and footer paragraphs added. You’ll like how Artemis Pro makes articles unique and it won’t embarrass you when you see your article in print like some other tools will!” The software comes with thousands of pre-loaded sites and you can add your own to the database as well.

Article Announcer
Jason Potash, of EzineAnnouncer fame, created this software training system that is delivered on CDÆs. The cost for this training system is quite high and there is not a stripped down version available for expert submitters. Your package will include 4 audio CDÆs, CD-ROM video tutorials, 2 workbooks, user guide and the software.

V. Article Submission Tips & Tricks – Interview An Expert
Done writing dull articles? Bored with the old “how to”? Consider interviewing an expert and creating your article from the results. Ask your interview subject if they have time to participate and then talk to them about their preferred method of being interviewed. Some experts would prefer to be provided a set of questions they can respond to in writing and other subjects prefer being interviewed over the telephone (giving you the opportunity to record the call if your subject agrees). Get enough material by asking ten or twelve questions and be sure to ask your expert for a quote to use within the article.
