Return Path has launched ‘Sender Score Resender’. Sender Score Resender will help marketers to know whether email delivery failure occurs because of content or reputation, according to Return Path.

When commercial email does not get delivered to the inbox:

– the sender’s reputation is responsible 77% of the time, and

– the domain included in the email are responsible 6% of the time, according to a Return Path study.

How Sender Score Resender Works

Return Path’s Sender Score Resender enables marketers to know the reasons of delivery failure by resending the same message with new IP addresses.

George Bilbrey, vice president and general manager, Return Path’s Delivery Assurance division, said: “Most marketers believe that they can tweak content and see deliverability rates increase, that by taking out the words “˜free’ or “˜10 percent off,’ their emails will suddenly make it into the inbox,

We have long held that a marketer’s reputation with receivers is the reason for poor results, and now with Resender we can easily prove it”. [source]

Sender Score Resender will be available next month.
