I. From The Editor
Thank you to everyone who responded to my editorial last month. I genuinely
appreciate your kind words, donations and suggestions. Your support has

II. Feature Article – Leverage Your Articles Into A Viral E-Book
Don’t just submit your articles to dozens of submission sites. You
put a great deal of time into writing and perfecting your articles so you want
to get the most out of them. Take your articles and compile them into a
professional looking e-book that you can submit to e-book directories, give
away as bonuses and allow e-zine publishers to give away.
Here are the exact steps that I took to create my viral e-book “Writing For
Publicity”, using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
1. Compile Your Articles
To create your e-book you will need to decide on a theme and then compile your
articles and blog postings that fit your theme. Don’t confuse readers by
throwing together an e-book with multiple topics.
2. Design Your Title Page
A title page is the first page of an e-book. Use a colorful graphic that fits
your theme and add the e-book title, a subtitle, if needed and your name.
3. Incorporate A Copyright Notice
Include a copyright statement that gives readers the right to share your
e-book, but which excludes them from attempting to make changes to the file.
This is the statement I use:
“This e-book is fully protected by the COPYRIGHT LAW OF THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA contained in Title 17 of the United States Code. All copyrights are
owned by YOUR COMPANY HERE. You may distribute this e-book freely. Technology
has been
used to prevent changes made to the content herein.”
4. Classify Your Articles
Organize your articles logically by topic, by date written, by title, etc.
Chose whatever works for you and makes your e-book easy to read.
5. Create A Table Of Contents
In Microsoft Word you can create a style that you use for article titles that
you can then incorporate into your table of contents without retyping all the
titles. Most word
processing software includes this function.
6. Make Your Links Live
Check links in your articles to make sure they still work. Remove dead
links. Go through the your article compilation and make sure that all the
outside links are clickable.
7. Include Resource Links
If it makes sense you can include a list of resource links. I used links
to my products and services along with links to free resources for article
marketing.
8. Add A Biography And An Ad
Close your e-book with your biography and picture on one page and dedicate at
least one page with an ad to a targeted product or service that fits the theme
of the e-book. You can also offer another free product in return for readers
subscribing to your e-zine.
9. Turn Your E-Book Into An Adobe Acrobat File
Adobe Acrobat files work with both Macintosh computers and PC’s. If you have
the full Adobe Acrobat package you can make PDF files easily. If you do not
have that
software try http://www.primopdf.com.
This is a free download that works with your print to convert your files.
10. Make A Graphic Cover For Your E-Book
Add to the credibility of your viral e-book by creating or buying a graphic
cover. The graphic cover can be used on the title page of your Word file and
it can be used wherever the e-book will be available for download.
Purchase software to create covers like
or hire someone to create the cover for you like
http://www.nitrocovers.com.
You’re almost done! Now you can list your e-book in free or paid e-book
directories, offer it to publishers who will give it away to their
subscribers, list it in web sites that compile free giveaways and list it as a
bonus for your e-zine subscribers and people who purchase your products!
III. Feature Review – Article Design Secrets Revealed
This ugly little (28 page) $7.00 e-book is a treasure trove of information on
how to maximize your article marketing efforts. Let’s face it … you spend a
great deal of time
writing and submitting articles. One area we haven’t focused on much is the
use of keywords in your title, body and byline. This e-book will guide you
through the steps to determine this information.
The author covers the essential steps of determining your audience, the
keywords that will attract that audience, designing your article with
keywords, designing your
byline so you get the maximum click-throughs and submitting your articles to
directories.
I spent about a half hour reading this e-book and got several ideas on how to
get more out of my article marketing. The author even includes a free
piece of software called Article Author Resource Box Automater. This little
gem formats an html resource box with keywords imbedded for you. This is
called “anchor text linking”. However, be
careful; some article directory sites will only allow you to use a plain text
link like
http://www.articlesthatsell.com with no html formatting.
I highly recommend this e-book. You can buy it by clicking the link below:

knowledgeable in the technologies that they cover on their network of sites
and publications. They need people who can write original tutorials, reviews,
opinion pieces and more. Payment for articles varies,
with premiums paid depending on factors such as the quantity of articles you
write, the frequency of your submissions, and your qualifications. They also
include special incentives to writers who receive positive reviews and can
promise a high number of
articles per month. Articles must each be at least 1,500 words. All articles
submitted will be edited for length, accuracy and clarity. Read extensive
guidelines for topics and formatting.

V. Article Submission Tips & Tricks – Publish Unique Articles On Your
Web Site
Article marketing is a resourceful strategy. It is an efficient way to attract
visitors, increase Search Engine ranking and educate potential customers. Ramp
up your article marketing efforts by publishing unique content on your web
site that readers will not find anywhere else. Use your free reprint articles
to advertise your unique content. More readers will click through your link in
your byline if they are tempted by a promise of something unique and exciting.
Another benefit to publishing unique content on your site is that you can
bypass the rules of the submission sites. You can include links and
advertisements in the body
of the article so long as you are discrete and do not overwhelm your reader
with dozens of ads imbedded in a tiny article. Remember to always offer
top-notch articles
whether or not you distribute them. Don’t damage your reputation by writing
and publishing inferior articles!

I am a Virtual Assistant providing many services to my clients. My favorite service is article submissions. I submit articles for my clients every day and have been doing so for almost nine years.
This technique worked so well that we put other expensive marketing projects on hold so that my speaker could travel all over the world on paid speaking engagements.
Over time I discovered this amazing technique will work for people who do not consider themselves writers. It will work in print and on-line. It will work if your topic is spirituality, hobbies, family, the internet, marketing, business, etc. You name it, the possibilities are limitless! I went on to make more than 70% of my income by handling article submission projects for other professionals.
