Get Your Lens Blessed By a SquidAngel
I’m working on a new lens that’s going to serve all of the people interested in social marketing. You can find it here: http://www.squidoo.com/networkingsocial
But I wanted to let you know about a new feature Squidoo has, which will be in my updated Squidoo eBook you’ll be getting a copy of when I’m finished.
It’s called SquidAngels, and they’re a group of volunteers on Squidoo that go around blessing or dinging lenses if you request that they visit your lens.
A blessing can boost your LensRank, and dings can push you back down. They’re doing this in an effort to clean up spam lenses from the site.
How do you get blessed? First of all, visit this SquidAngel’s tip lens: http://www.squidoo.com/squidangelrksmythe – he blessed my lens yesterday or today (you’ll see it in the guestbook at my lens). He has some great tips!
Then, hop on over to SquidU (it’s a link at the top of your Squidoo lens when you log into your dashboard). Post in the SquidAngels thread that you’d like an angel to stop by your lens. Make sure it’s in good shape, since you don’t want them to ding it if it’s nowhere near complete yet.
That’s it! I created a lens just a few days ago for my video tutorials that are on my blog at http://www.socialmarketing101.com/blog and it’s already in the 1400s but I plan on getting it a Top 100 spot in the coming week.
Stop by and say hi on my new lens and let me know how you like it! Have a great weekend!
Tiff 🙂
