47% of adult Americans have a home broadband connection, according to a February 2007 survey conducted by the Pew Internet & American Life Project.

Key findings of the Pew Internet & American Life Project survey include;

– In 2006, 42% of adult Americans were having a home broadband connection

– Among the people who use the internet at home, 70% have a high-speed connection

– Among the people who use the internet at home, 23% use dialup connection

– 40% of African Americans have broadband at home.
