The Perpetual Keyword Machine

I became interested in the “Perpetual Keyword Cycle” quite by accident.

The initial “Eureka” occurred when I was performing keyword research for a large corporation.

This company was spending thousands of dollars on Pay Per Click advertising. This is normal for large companies and there is nothing wrong with that.

However . . .

Many of the PPC keywords they purchased were also terms that they ranked highly for on the natural search engine listings.

This means that they were often times paying WAY too much for keywords. This is because they did not know for which keywords and themes they already ranked on the FREE search engines. They ranked twice for many extremely expensive terms.

There is nothing wrong with being listed for both PPC and free search keywords at the same time. But it is important to do this only by CHOICE.

The common mistake is to not connect Pay Per Click keywords to natural search engine optimization.

With only a little research they would have been able track keywords for which they were already ranked and lower their bid costs for these same terms.

Conversely, they would have discovered more keywords relative to their market derived from their highest converting PPC keywords. (We call any converting keywords as “Money” keywords at Theme Zoom).

Once you have these Money keywords it is possible to create better natural content by extracting related keywords from them. Ultimately, they would have reduced the size of their Pay Per Click ad spends and increased their profit margin by adding high-demand natural content to the free engines.

This is especially important today because Google charges you more money when your Pay Per Click advertisements redirect to a page with very little related content. (Such as name squeeze pages and non-indexed scrolling sales letters).

The Solution:

Why not organize your Pay Per Click ads while building your natural content pages at the same time?

This way you have a strategy that integrates and optimizes any time and money spent on both.

This is where the Perpetual Keyword Motion Machine comes in. Theme Zoom is implementing a comprehensive keyword solution that will automate and optimize this process. This dual planning process is called “PPC Silo Mapping”. You simply map the most profitable Pay Per Click keyword themes onto the silo structure of your natural website.

The bottom line is that with only a little extra research and tracking, a company could be building their “content bank-account” while profoundly optimizing their Pay Per Click outspends.

Theme Zoom was built to help you “begin with the end in mind”. The idea is to combine the costly outspends of market research, keyword research, and website development into as single integrated process.
