Estimated Customer Conversion Indicator
The EECI “overview and detailed” metrics now more accurately reveal the number of customers that you could expect to convert if you were ranked in the top 10 search engine positions for qualified keywords.
How is the overview ECCI (estimated customer conversion indicator) field calculated ?
First, we calculate the sum of the Estimated Natural Clicks per Day values for all the synonyms of the theme which were not marked as KGO (Keyword Generation Only). We then multiply that sum by an EXTREMELY conservative direct response marketing conversion rate of 1%.
The synonyms used in this overview calculation are the non-pink synonyms located just above the “Check All” button on the Zoom Analysis Screen. For a refresher visit:

How is the detailed ECCI (estimated customer conversion indicator) field calculated ?
First, we calculate the sum of the Estimated Natural Clicks per Day values for all keywords which have a TRI Index greater than 50, are not TS or TT (Theme Subordinate to Keyword or Tangent Theme), and were NOT used in the overview ECCI calculation . We then multiply that sum by an EXTREMELY conservative direct response marketing conversion rate of 1%.
Important:
Keywords for which the “Get Remaining Data” function has not been performed will NOT be included in ECCI calculation because their TRI Index value is unknown.
Keywords which are *not* displayed on the Zoom Analysis Screen due to filter settings *are* included in the ECCI calculations, assuming they pass the ECCI criteria.
If you DELETE a keyword from the Zoom Analysis screen which was used in the ECCI calculation , you will affect the numbers in the ECCI column of the Theme Management screen.
What does this all mean?
It means that you now have a pretty decent overview of what sort of qualified traffic you can expect if you are highly ranked for highly relevant keywords. When you have deleted unwanted keywords form the database this will be your final estimated customer conversion and is an extremely CONSERVATIVE estimate. It is also a way to give an overall value to a market “at a glance”!
