Record With Attitude… Your Audience Will Love It

Let’s talk about attitude.

If you know that you have total control over how the end result is going to sound, you’re going to feel a bit more confident in making your recording. Well, guess what. You DO have full control because I’m going to show you how to edit down to the syllable. In other words, yes, there’s always the erase function, but let’s say that you’re on a roll and you’ve laid down a long track of great audio and then, out of the blue you make a major mistake.

Since you know that you have the ability to simply edit that one syllable, word, or phrase, rather than erase the whole recording you just made, you’re going to be a heck of a lot more confident and not as worried about making mistakes. It’s going to be “no big deal”. Right?

And I’m going to show you how to do that in just a few minutes. But first, here are some other general tips you need to know to make high quality recordings.

There is no fire. Let me say it again. There’s no fire. Now what do I mean by that? Well, lots of people, because they are afraid of making mistakes, just rattle off their speech really fast in hopes of getting over the pain quickly. Like that….

The point is, take your time. Slow down and relax. Remember, you control the edit function. Rapid speech makes your presentation sound nervous and amateurish.
