I. From The Editor
Dear Subscriber,
As I write this message Southern California is consumed by raging wild fires. Several fires may have been started by an arsonist.
I bring this up because I want to encourage you to look at using current events in your articles. For instance,
if your business sells safety kits, first aid kits, camping supplies, etc., then you should write an article and tie your suggestions to the current event.
An article of this type will not be evergreen but you
can get a tremendous surge of traffic by writing about current events.
Wishing you much success,
Bonnie Jo Davis

II. Feature Article – Promoting Affiliate Products With Article Marketing
You already know that article marketing is a tried and true technique for propelling your business forward. In fact, article marketing is so prevalent, you may worry that it has been overdone and is losing its punch. Nothing is further from the truth, particularly if you are involved with affiliate products and want to raise your income.
And let’s face it … you want to make money. Article marketing can provide you with a good income, especially if you use it to promote your affiliate programs and utilize it to drive traffic
to your web site.
Most article submission sites won’t allow you to include affiliate links or “cloaked” links in your byline or even in the body of your article, but you can get around this by adding a
link to a “review” of an affiliate product and place a “buy” button at the top, middle and bottom of the page.
A high-quality affiliate review article follows certain conventions. First, be honest in your article and cover both good and bad (if any!) features of a product. Your honesty will enhance your
credibility with readers and they will be more likely to continue reading your article.
Here’s my preferred review structure:
Give an overview and general description of the affiliate product. For example, if the product is a book, give some information about the author and list the topics covered in the book. You can even include the entire table of contents to give readers an authentic idea of what they can expect.
After you’ve described the product, list the features that you like about it. Mention anything that is especially appealing or useful. Then, you should mention what you don’t like about it, if anything. Don’t go out of your way to find something bad to say, but do offer an honest assessment of its features. Nothing is perfect, after all!
Once you’ve finished your review, you can add a link to the bottom of the article in the form of a “buy” button that will take readers to where they can purchase the product.
Try out my method of article marketing and watch your web site traffic increase and your affiliate sales rise!

Bonnie Jo Davis
I am a Virtual Assistant providing many services to my clients. My favorite service is article submissions. I submit articles for my clients every day and have been doing so for almost nine years.
This technique worked so well that we put other expensive marketing projects on hold so that my speaker could travel all over the world on paid speaking engagements.
Over time I discovered this amazing technique will work for people who do not consider themselves writers. It will work in print and on-line. It will work if your topic is spirituality, hobbies, family, the internet, marketing, business, etc. You name it, the possibilities are limitless! I went on to make more than 70% of my income by handling article submission projects for other professionals.
