Alan Bechtold’s latest ‘E-Wealth Report’ article:

Build Your Brand The Easy Way

Any business can see dramatic increases in sales by creating a memorable brand. If your brand resonates with a group of people, they’ll remember you, feel good about you and come back to buy from you again and again.

They’ll also prefer buying from you over any of your competitors. Even if you charge more for the same things they sell!

The problem is, we’re all mostly small business operators. Most of us don’t have the millions or even hundreds of thousands larger corporations spend to build a brand the traditional way.

Fortunately, there’s a lot we can do at virtually no cost.

Tie your personality to your business. Your personality is the easiest identification point you have with your prospects and clients. It’s a beacon that reaches out to like-minded people who will resonate with you and respond to your offers.

When you attract prospects and customers with your personality, the trust factor shoots through the roof, too. Customers choose to attach themselves to you without any unnecessary prodding on your part. And they’ll listen more to what you have to say and recommend.

Even the “big-brand” companies often tie their brands to a personality. Kinko’s, named for its founder’s kinky head of hair, comes instantly to mind.

Anybody remember Crazy Eddie? This brand was so memorable that it’s still familiar today, long after the electronics store that was his namesake has shut its doors.

This brand was so memberable there’s even a classic Saturday Night Live bit poking fun at Crazy Eddie, keeping the memory alive.

What is it about your personality, the unique you, that can be tied to the business you’re building? Are you a school teacher? Be the teacher who trains your customers to solve their problems. Did you work construction most of your life? Help your customers “construct” a better life through your products and services.

It’s never too late to discover the FUNdamental You and build it into your business … but it’s especially useful if you’re just starting to lay out the foundation to build on.

You’ll discover, if you do this properly, that your FUNdamental You also makes creating all those essentials to a start-up business – letterheads, business cards, signs, billboards and others – almost a no-brainer.

Do you think Crazy Eddy’s marketing division had any problems coming up with a logo?

In addition, your advertising materials are now also easier to create, because you’ve got an established theme to follow. When you follow an established theme, you drill your business into the minds of prospects and customers who resonate with that theme.

They could even adopt your theme as their own and help you spread the word about your company. Harley Davidson and Playboy don’t have a whole lot in common … but I’ve noticed fans of both companies will often tattoo the companys’ logos on their bodies!

That”˜s branding! Literally.

I usually bring a gift of some kind each issue … and I’ve got a great one this week. Although – honestly – I’m also asking you for a gift or two in return.

This week, I bring you the gift of a priate invitation to my exclusive launch celebration promotion, telling the world about my new book, Will Work For Fun: 3 Simple Steps for Turning Any Hobby or Interest Into Cash, and my new full-length movie, The FUNdamental You.

The launch celebration takes place June 24, 2008.

This is a closed affiliate promotion. That means you can only get in by invitation. I’m inviting you to participate.

All you’ll need to do is sign up as a promotional partner and agree to send at least one email to your list of customes and prospects the day before or the day of the launch celebration. Everyone who buys a copy of my book or my movie will set a cookie for life that will peg them to you. Then, each time I make a sale to one of the people you sent – right away or even months or years from now – you’ll earn a 50% commission on that sale. Automatically.

I’ll be making offers, starting as soon as visitors have made the decision to make a purchase, ranging from monthly memberships from $19.97 to $97 per month (paying you each and every month) to $97-997 seminar and workshop seats, to high-end coaching programs selling for $5,000-10,000.

Whatever I sell prospects that you send to the promotion, whenever that sale takes place – you’ll get paid a commission for bringing that prospect to me.

Even better – if you can provide a free gift that buyers of my book and movie can have when they make a purchase during the launch, those buyers will hand you their names and email addresses, bulding your list of prospects for whatever you have to sell.

Providing a gift isn’t required – but you’ll benefit immediately from the literally millions of people who will be hearing about this promotional launch if you do.

There’s even an affiliate contest that everyone can win, because I want even the promotion to be fun.
