Grab The Popcorn – There’s a New Web TV Show for Marketers

With 80% of small businesses failing every year in the U.S. alone, “Help! My Business Sucks!” is probably a cry heard in every corner of the country. It’s also the title of a new web TV show for entrepreneurs and small business owners that promises to help viewers ‘get more done, and have more fun’.

The weekly show is presented by maverick marketer Andrew Lock, a Brit who’s on a mission to help small business owners succeed, and expose conventional marketing as dead.

Lock says, “The show aims to prove to entrepreneurs that there’s a much better way to promote their products or services – a way that will generate profits rather than losses. People are fed up of being bombarded with ‘in-your-face’, confrontational advertising and they’re starting to rebel against it. Slick sales tricks and image advertising simply don’t work any more, so I’m providing a much better alternative.”

Lock is particularly passionate about helping young entrepreneurs. He says, “The way that marketing is taught in most business schools today is hopelessly antiquated. It’s unacceptable, and I’m going to change it by educating as many people as possible through this free show. Every week I reveal all kinds of cool tips and tweaks that any business owner can profit from, and I also share some really useful web productivity resources – what I like to call, ‘Nifty Clicks’.”

If you consider yourself an entrepreneur and enjoy watching TV shows like Donald Trump’s ‘The Apprentice’ or Donny Deutsch ‘The Big Idea’, grab some popcorn, and enjoy watching Help! My Business Sucks! – it’s an entertaining show, and who knows – Andrew might just help to reduce that 80% statistic down to something a lot less embarrassing.
