An Insanely Insidious Secret to Success
by Alan Bechtold
You want to be an Internet marketer, right? That’s why you’re reading this newsletter, buying programs, trying every new trick that comes down the line.
Stand in line. There are thousands just like you. The rewards are huge, but the percentages against you are stacked pretty high … unless you follow the path virtually every mega-star marketing expert followed to get where he or she is today.
Unfortunately, most of these people are too busy selling you their latest tactics and tricks to tell you how to best put them to use to get where they are.
I suppose they want to stay on top of the heap and, therefore, don’t like handing you the most straightforward path to their pinnacle of success.
Fortunately for you, I’ve been doing this so long there’s no one on my summit. After this long, I don’t feel any threat from anyone who wants to join me there.
Besides, the company would be nice.
That being said, here’s what you need to do right now, to start yourself on the paint-by-numbers path to building a massive online marketing business:
First – seriously study everything you’ve already purchased (and every new marketing system, training course and book or software that you purchase in the future). Then, apply them to sell something online that isn’t related to marketing.
If you don’t want to sell something not related to marketing, fine. Sell Internet marketing tools to off-line businesses. There are more than you can count. Many are located within just a few miles of you.
Pick an affiliate program. There are countless thousands out there to choose from – even when you eliminate anything having anything to do with marketing.
Create a niche information product. This is really easy to do when you put together an E-book or audio CD or mini-course about something you truly enjoy doing, such as growing a garden, painting old shells, collecting hood ornaments – whatever it is you really like doing for fun.
Either way, take the tools and courses and information you’ve already learned buying stuff about Internet marketing and set up a system to sell something totally unrelated to marketing using what you now have in your own marketing arsenal. Test it and tweak it, continually improving your results until you’ve got some significant sales.
Then put together a system that shows other marketers how you did it.
It’s pretty simple, really. All the “tricks and legitimate gimmicks” you learn studying online marketing, that no longer work as well as they used to as soon as they’re being sold to other Internet marketers en mass, work like a Rolex in most of the other tens of thousands of niches you can apply them in.
This makes your job of getting out there and using what you’ve purchased to bring in some money so much easier you won’t believe the results until you’ve tried it for yourself.
And you’ll establish yourself as knowing what you’re doing, by selling into another niche. You’ll have the steps you took, the results you got, and the tweaks and changes you made to share.
And other online marketers will pay you to learn from your experiences!
If you’re hell-bent on selling marketing information, sell it to marketers in other niches, besides people who sell to other marketers, such as retailers in your favorite hobby industry. Or local businesses, as I said earlier.
Bust out your bag of tricks and spring it on local businesses. Offer to help them increase their sales online for a percentage of the profits you generate (no risk for them, ongoing revenue for you).
It works.
As I said, most every marketing “guru” now preaching online did it this way. I used to think I was an exception to this rule. It turns out I’ve just been doing this so long I forgot – I used to publish newsletters and magazines in print and electronic and had to sell them. This is what I did to learn marketing to teach others.
You can, too. It’s actually the easiest way to go.
The FUNdamental You, my new full-length movie, shows you an easy way to accomplish this. And for a limited time you can watch the entire movie online for only $4.97, and receive a coupon good for $4.97 off on the DVD, delivered directly to your door.
This is like having a “free preview” of the movie if you decide to buy the DVD after watching online.
Or just watch online. It’s all there, in medium-speed and low-speed versions complete with sharp full-screen viewing options.
