Ken’s latest email is reprinted here:
It’s become a running joke here around my office.
I keep saying I’m going to finish a major sales letter I’ve been working on.
And then another week goes by and I haven’t quite gotten around to it yet…
(Yeah, it happens to me too. You’re not the only one with a big “to do” pile.)
I’m lucky in two ways though…
First, just on word of mouth alone – with no “launch” (AKA a cast of characters slamming people’s mail boxes with launch sp@m) – we’ve already quietly sold over 100 of these special trainings BEFORE the program has been advertised.
I’m also lucky for second far more important reason…
The quality of my “inner circle” customers who get my stuff long before the rest of the world gets a chance to see it. One of them is Gary Bencivenga.
Gary is widely acknowledged as the #1 Top Gun direct mail copywriter of the
last 25 years.
His name appears on every informed marketer’s short list of the greatest copywriting giants of all time.
Insiders like the John Carlton, the late Gary Halbert and mega-publishers like Boardroom, Rodale, Agora, and others gladly dropped everything they were doing a while back to fly to NYC and pay him lavishly to hear him reveal for the first – and last – time how he managed to consistently beat the pants off all competitors for decades.
(Gary was willing to finally spill the beans because after decades of beating one big dollar control after another, he was stepping away from the direct mail gladiator arena to enjoy his hard earned rewards.)
This week I got a surprise from Gary in my mailbox.
He was kind enough to send me the following note about the latest batch of CDs he received from the System and the impact they and the System have had on him.
Note: Gary’s been a System Club member since 2002 and began as a customer a few years before that.
Here’s what Gary wrote..
Hi, Ken:
Ken, in this past year, I feel that you have hit warp speed in accelerating away from everyone else in the IM-training marketplace.
In the universe of Internet Marketing training, you own it. There is no second.
One reason I say this is because the best investment I have ever made in IM materials is your 2008 System Club CD program. I’m into just my third CD and it’s changing virtually everything I’m doing for the better, and I was no slouch beforehand! But when you have as a mind-master
support team the most successful practitioners in the IM world, well, how can anyone NOT improve! I find myself dropping even high-priority projects to just listen and take notes of everything you’ve sent.
I even went online and ordered Dragon Naturally Speaking so I can speak my notes into my computer for faster transcription–solely because it is helping me capture more quickly every informational gem in your CDs. They’re nothing short of a masterpiece.
Congratulations, Ken, on the best IM materials ever produced.
All the best and keep up your fabulous work, Gary

Wow!
With letters like that, I may not need to write a sales letter at all.
But seriously, until the System Seminar 2008 CDs promotion is ready, we’re still in “pre-publication” mode.
This means, because of the embarrassingly long time it’s taken me to get the sales letter ready, you have a chance to rob me blind.
You can get the same material my inner circle System Club members have for HALF of what everyone else will be paying when I finally get that darned sales promotion done.
The savings are massive…and the deadline is looming.
When the letter is finished, the price of our training will skyrocket.
If you weren’t at System 2008 or have never been able to make it to a System Seminar, you owe it to yourself to find out what you’ve been missing.

P.S. If you’re relatively new to marketing (or even if you’re not), you should Google the name
“Gary Bencivenga” Not knowing this guy’s work and not taking advantage of all the things he’s sharing, would be like not picking up a stack of hundred dollar bills at your feet.
You’ll see…
