(1) Tips from the Two Most Requested Special Reports and Topics

On my information website, http://www.creativekeys.net, I include a site SEARCH box.This lets me know weekly exactly what you, my visitor, is looking for on this website.
Two of the keywords often searched are elevator (speech) and emcee. Therefore, I have written a Special Report on each and am including a tip from each.
What is an “elevator speech” anyway? I believe the name was actually coined from the idea that we sometimes meet the important people in our lives in elevators. The odd situation we encounter in most elevators is that nobody speaks to or looks at anyone else, and yet we have a captive audience for that short period of time. Very few people are ready to interact in case someone does speak.
The true idea of an “elevator speech” is to have a prepared presentation that grabs attention and says a lot in a few words. What are you going to be saying? By telling your core message, you will be marketing yourself and/or your business, but in a way that, rather than putting people off, will make them want to know more about you and your business.
As the emcee, be aware of what your role is. Yes, you will be the host and facilitator for the program. And your job is to warm the audience and prepare them for the speaker(s). Your part is extremely important to the overall flow of the meeting, but you must remember that you are not the “show.” You are the host or hostess whose main function is to make everyone feel welcomed and comfortable. It is your goal to make the speaker(s) look and feel good.

In many of my articles, my report on STYLE and reports on speaking and getting fit, I stress being who you really are. In a few words, that is what HARMONY and CONGRUENCE are all about.
When we practice being true to ourselves, adhering to our own values, and “walking our talk,” we will not only be happier, we will also be trusted by others.
Adlai E. Stevenson summed it up when he said, “A hypocrite is the kind of politician who would cut down a redwood tree, then mount the stump and make a speech for conservation.”
Creativity – How to Use the Ideas that Are in HARMONY with Your Inner Self
In my e-newsletter and this e-book I have often written of great ways to generate many wonderful ideas. My question to you is how many of those ideas have you taken action on?
I know that there are some ideas that I love, but don’t seem to ever follow through on. I don’t even have an easy time writing goals for them. I submit to you that the underlying reason is that they are not in HARMONY with my inner self.
They might work for someone else, but deep down, they just don’t work for me. To use a cliche, they don’t “light my fire.” Examine them again, and ask yourself a big “Why?”
and then move onto another great idea.
