Blog Bucks for Affiliate Marketers

Blogs are amazing tools for affiliate marketers. Since blogs are such a personal form of communication, they’re a good way to really connect to your visitors on a personal level.

They’ll begin to like you, and to really trust you. This is a wonderful opportunity for an affiliate marketer, because when people trust you, they’ll trust your opinions about products.

All you’ll have to do is mention how much you like a product and drop an affiliate link, and your users will swarm to the offer. Of course, this can only happen if you put in the time and effort to gain that level of trust from your visitors.

If you only blog twice a month, and you rarely provide any useful information, people aren’t going to develop the kind of bond with you that would lead them to trust your recommendations that much.

You need to provide such amazing content that your visitors will remember your name. You’ve heard of people like Steve Pavlina, Perez Hilton, and John Chow, right? If you haven’t, it’s a pretty good bet that someone you know has.

They have far-reaching reputations as prolific bloggers. People follow them almost religiously, and they make a LOT of money. In fact, John Chow’s blog is a blog about making money blogging! People like them because they have charisma that shines through in every single post.

You can greatly increase your affiliate earning by developing a rabid following. All you really need to do is provide your visitors quality, on-topic content on a regular basis, and do it while letting some of your personality shine though. You have to let people see a little bit of the person you really are.

Once you start gaining a bit of popularity, other bloggers will start linking to you. People will start talking about you. People will start telling their friends about your blog. If you provide very good content and your blog is interesting to read, you’ll soon find your visitor numbers climbing as your blog goes viral.

After you reach a good level of popularity, you’ll have a following that will eagerly buy anything you recommend. Just make sure you keep their trust by only recommending high-quality products. If you’re careful with your recommendations, you’ll have a following that will keep making you money year after year.
