The Power of Prayer

My mother is, and has always been, a devout Christian. Every Sunday, she attends mass and she has taught at a local Christian school for countless years.

Many of the beliefs and values I hold dear have all been passed down to me from her. And for that I thank her endlessly.

While I was visiting with her just a short while ago, we discussed the hard times a few of our family friends were going through. She told me that she prays for these people every night and hopes that, even in the slightest ways, her efforts will help.

I told her that I know her prayers have helped my brothers and me and she is doing a great thing by praying for these families.

Now, prayer may not be the key to overnight success, but I believe that persistence could pay off and that devotion could certainly help.

You see, I believe that prayer helps you develop a focus on your goals and can be a personal way to constantly reflect on your life.

What it comes down to is that believing in yourself and never letting doubt get in the way is more likely to help you in reaching your goals. Whether you use prayer or another motivating practice, keeping your focus centered is certainly a key to success.

When you are staying true to your beliefs by acting the part, you may be more likely to reach your goals. Match your prayers to your daily actions and you’re strengthening your resolve to be your absolute best.

Whether you need help creating more income or the strength to overcome a particular challenge, you can start by focusing your thoughts. Direct your energy towards where you want to go and you could find yourself getting there faster.
