Last month, Ben and I were in NYC together at Affiliate Summit East and the subject of the “the tool” came up.
“How’s that been working for you?” I asked.
“Oh that? It’s been great. Changed my life.”
It so happened that the guy who turned Ben on to this technology was at the Summit so we had a chance to meet.
This guy has a background so deep in Internet marketing it’s CRAZY.
He started with the Houston Chronicle which was one of the very first mainstream newspapers to go online in a serious way.
Then he worked for Mark Cuban at Broadcast.com.Cuban sold that company to Yahoo for $5.9 billion.(That’s “billion” with a “B.”)
Then Ben’s friend went to work for GoTo which became Overture which invented the pay-per-click model which now rules the online advertising world.
Talk about right place at the right time…over and over and over again.
Well, it looks like Ben’s friend has done it again.
If you’re running a good sized Google AdWords campaign ($5,000 a month and up), lock the door, turn off your cell phone, and give the next nine minutes your absolutely undivided attention.
I guarantee this will be the most valuable nine minutes you’ll spend all year.
