For the most part, you’re probably someone who likes to be busy. Every corner holds a new moneymaking opportunity, and you’re out there hunting down each and every one.
But, while it may seem like every day flies by, there are days when time seems to just stand still. Maybe there’s a gap in between your moneymaking projects and you want to do something, anything, you just can’t figure out what.
In the end, you decide to get down to some busy work that does little to help you get any closer to reaching your big goals. Maybe, even, you just plunk down in front of the TV and channel surf.
Often, a slow day turns into a wasted day. Now, no one can be expected to work at all times, but, if you find yourself caught on the verge of a wasted day, here’s some advice for saving
your time and possibly even turning a slow day into a payday.
Quite often, when people have time to kill, they will start cleaning and organizing. Now, if your workspace is an absolute mess, this could certainly help you out. Cleaning isn’t just
about arranging your workbooks and papers into neat piles. Go through your notes, because you may have forgotten about a person you wanted to get in touch with.
Another solution is to constantly plan for downtimes. This means that, when projects need to be put aside, you put your notes in a dedicated folder that you can dive into when things
slow down. Make a few phone calls, send out some e-mails and pretty soon your day could take you in a much more productive direction.
Finally, it may just be best to get out for awhile and drop in on some local businesses. Try to drum up new customers for your product and service or just take time to talk about current
challenges facing local businesses.
Turning a slow day into a payday is a rewarding way to lift your spirits and even pad your bank account. There are always dozens of options; you just need to try the ones that could
benefit you.
