This video comes from System 2004 and the speaker is the late Ken Giddens, one of the
Internet’s brightest lights.

Netscape actually hired Ken to create the web-based training they used to teach the
world how to set up servers and write HTML when the company and the Web was in its
infancy.

Ken was also one of the pioneers of SEO. For a long time he controlled the keyword “watches”
on Google. (Yes, that was worth a lot of money.)

Besides being a great tech guy, Ken was also a great teacher.

This clip comes from his first ever seminar appearance.

I’m proud that the System was the first to give him a chance to speak in front of the big audience he deserved.
