Create the Results You Want in Five Easy Steps

All of us experience doubts from time to time. We wonder if our attempts to make a real change in our lives can really come to fruition or if change is really possible. If you find your true calling, your potential, could it really rocket you to success?

Well, it may not make you a millionaire overnight, but it could give you the confidence you need in order to feel better about yourself, to live a better life, and to have more fulfilling beliefs
about your potential.

The good news is that it’s never too late to start living a positive and successful life. Now is the perfect time, in fact, for you to get started. Use your dissatisfaction as a motivator and
apply your potential toward making a better life for yourself.

If you think of change as an adventure or as an experiment that could bring you countless opportunities to grow and recognize your full potential, then you could make success happen. The difference between people who find their potential and those who don’t can be summed up in one word: attitude.

Here are five steps to help you along on your path to personal fulfillment and success:

1. Know Your Source of Strength: It comes from within, but it is unique to each of us. Is it your knowledge, your spirituality, or an emotion, perhaps? Is it something from your past that
motivates you? Is it an attitude or a belief?

Find it, grab ahold of it, and pull it inward. Look at this intangible quality and find the good in it, because it’s going to be the cornerstone of your life from here on out.

2. Understand Your Function: We all have a task, an assignment or a job that we have to perform on a day-to-day basis. What is yours? Is it to create a computer operating
system like Bill Gates has? Is it to be a missionary? Or is it to be a teacher? I’m not talking about your chosen career here. I am speaking about your calling in life. It’s all about coming to
terms with the duty you were meant to undertake in your life — determine what the activity that excites you most is and what it is that you are truly passionate about.

3. Find Your Purpose in Life: A purpose in life is different from having a function. Your purpose is your means to provide something of value to the world. Is it compassion? Inspiration? Literary genius? What wonderful trait do you possess that could make the world a better place?

4. Determine Your Resources: Who or what is in your life that could help you become the best person you can be? Who or what motivates you? Inspires you? Makes you want to be a
better person? Who or what brings out the passion in you? Who or what makes you confident that you have unlimited potential?

5. Make Positive Changes to Your Environment: What changes will you make in order to foster your potential? How will you nourish it and help it grow? What things will need to be
eliminated from your life in order for this change to take place? What small victories can you embrace and use as a springboard for your success?

As you can see, these are all helpful questions that you can ask yourself in your quest to maximize your potential. Once you better understand yourself, you will easily find the way to
cultivate good mental habits in order to empower yourself continuously.
