In his latest email Ken McCarthy talks on “Able to leap buildings in a single bound”. [‘System Seminar’]

Ken says, “If you know the old Superman story, Superman posed as Clark Kent, a modest, mild-mannered
reporter with the Daily Planet.

In reality, of course, he was…well…Superman.

I like to joke that my friend Michael Fishman is the Clark Kent of direct marketing.

It’s almost impossible to get him to brag on himself.

But here’s some facts:

* Michael’s been the quarterback for BILLIONS of direct mail pieces sent (and billions of sales.) (Not e-mail. REAL mail that costs REAL money to send.)

* He was the list strategist on one of the most successul mailings in direct mail history. It was so profitable it was mailed 100 million times

* He provided list strategy to several of the most famous “hockey stick” growth success stories in
direct marketing history. Big banging companies like Rodale and Boardroom that were a whole lot smaller when he started working with them.

Everyone talks about ad copy – and ad copy is important.

But knowing how to put a winning message in front of as many people as possible is what makes the cash
register ring big time – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg of Michael’s expertise.

He’ll be speaking at System 2011. If you want to find out what he’s all about – and take away some gems – you can do that here.
