Bill Myers’ ‘Tip of the Week’:
Bill Myers Tip of the Week – March 26, 2011
If you ever watched the Jetsons cartoons, you probably remember the video phones that George Jetson used when calling Mr Cogwsell (his boss) or to call his wife Jane to say he’d be working late.
Back then, the idea of video phones seemed pretty cool, as well as far fetched.
But these days, anyone with a computer, web cam and internet connection can make video calls to just about anyone in the world, for free!
It’s true. You can be like a Jetson and make free video calls to your family, friends and associates.
All you need is the free Skype software a webcam, and you can be making video calls with minutes.
And as I mentioned in last weeks tip, you can even record these video calls, and upload them to your web site or YouTube (great for video interviews) or share with loved ones.
To give you an idea of what these calls can look like, as well as how to set them up using Skype, I’ve posted a short video on my site showing everything you need to know.
I’ve even posted a video showing my webcam recommendations where you’ll learn that even a low cost webcam can give you good results.
So, if you want to be like the Jetsons, use free Skype software and a webcam to start making your own video calls today.
Once you start doing video calls, you’ll understand why they are such a great way to stay in touch.
